Frank A. Conte, CLU, ChFC

Executive Officer

Beginning his career in 1972 as a Financial Planner at Prudential, Frank has built his practice on insurance and investment advice, financial planning, employee benefit programs, employer exit strategies and wealth management. Branching out in 2006 to start his own financial services firm, Frank’s founding principal was family. He is eager to admit that much of what he has learned about the industry, he learned from his father, Sam Conte, whose own career in the field dates to the 1960’s.

Frank has built his practice on insurance and investment advice, financial planning, employee benefits programs, employer exit strategies and wealth management for over 50 years. 

​

As the founding partner of Conte Wealth Advisors, Frank has cultivated a family-owned atmosphere and people-centric culture which he carried with him while building the foundation of The Independent Grid. Frank succeeds in making every person affiliated with The Independent Grid feel as a part of his family by encouraging a strong comradery throughout the team and the offices.

After over 50 years in the industry, Frank's favorite thing about being a financial advisor is the ability to educate clients on the importance of saving and watching them achieve their goals and dreams. 

​

Frank’s tenure as a dedicated member to his community comprises serving on various boards and committees. His most notable contribution is his 55 years as a volunteer firefighter, 45 of which have been for Hampden Township. Some of the other firehouses in which he served were the Lemoyne Fire Company, New Cumberland Fire Company, Fairview Township Fire Company, and West Enola Fire Company. Among his past achievements and awards, he is most proud of his service to his country in the US Army Reserves, his past board membership of the Pennsylvania Estate Planning Council, HAIFA (Harrisburg Association of Insurance and Financial Planning Advisors) and his past presidency of The Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Of the long list of accolades, Frank is most honored by his receipt of the industry superlative Top of the Table recognition for four consecutive years, and his membership in the Million Dollar Round Table for production every year since 1976. In 2014, Frank was named as a finalist for the Central Penn Business Journal’s Financial Executive of the Year Award, in 2015, he was designated as a member of the Cambridge Investment Research Premiere Club. In addition to these accomplishments, Frank was named a 2015 Growth Specialist by Central Penn Business Journal, a Five Star Wealth Manager for the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Frank currently serves on the Board of Directors at Centric Bank, is actively involved with Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, and continues to be an active volunteer firefighter for Hampden Township.

​

In his spare time, Frank and his wife Donna enjoy traveling, playing golf and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
